Which platform should I use to create my website?
I use the most popular WordPress platform to create my website. It’s a paid and functional platform, suitable for any project.
What and how should you prepare before the consultation?
You don’t need to prepare anything for the first 20-minute speech. Once we move on from there we will do the next more in-depth consultation. For this talk, it’s a good idea to think about what you want from your new website and what the purpose of the website is. For example, the purpose could be to make an enquiry or book a call. You can also save links to websites that you like. If you have a logo or other visuals, it’s a good idea to look them up. During the consultation, we will discuss the structure, the visual direction and the content you want to include on your website.
How much input do you expect from me?
I’m looking for images, service descriptions and a description of you or your business to use on the website. The amount of input will depend on the amount of information you want to include on the website. I will help you to adjust the wording of the input if necessary and make it more web-friendly. You don’t need to worry about the front page and other smaller content, I will write it myself.
Can I have your input to respond to?
After the consultation, I will send you an input document with the information you need to create your website. Once you’ve sent me the input, we can get started on the website.
What is my contribution in terms of time to the website creation process?
Your input is needed at the start of the project and when we review the final result. It is difficult to estimate the time involved as it depends on the size of your website. On average, it takes 2-6 weeks to create a website, depending on the complexity of the project and the speed of cooperation. The sooner you provide feedback, the smoother and faster the project will progress.
How long will it take to complete the website?
The average website takes 2-6 weeks to complete. A simple homepage [homepage, services, about the company, contact + a few service pages] usually takes 2 weeks. A more complex website with additional functionality may take longer. Usually no longer than 8 weeks.
How much does it cost to make a website?
The price for a website starts from 1200€ when you order from me. This price is within the limits of classic websites. If you would like to have additional functionalities on your website, e.g. a booking system or if it is a larger project with many tabs, a setup fee will be added. Can you also help with content creation?
If you feel you’re still not a great writer, I’d be happy to help you write content. When requesting a quote, please let me know that you expect me to help you with the content as well. That way I can anticipate this in advance.
Will I be able to manage and update the website later?
Saad! We create a website on the WordPress platform that allows you to add and edit content yourself. In the final talk after the project is finished, I’ll explain where and how you can edit your own website.
How much does it cost to manage a website once it is up and running?
There are two options for website management. If you want to do it yourself, there are no extra costs for you. If you feel that you do not want to continue managing the site yourself, the website management service costs €50 per month. I will visit your website at the beginning of each week to back up, update and test the functionality of your website. This way you can be sure that your website is working well all the time.
